There are many
reasons why this could occur, which may include having faulty hardware, such as
having a loose connection between the motherboard and hardware, which has
infected conductor, having defective software that can include being infected
by a virus, or have an operating system stapled which means that the operating
system may be damaged.
- Set the clean boot system and then restart
- Click Start, and in the search box misconfig type and hit enter. If the system asks for confirmation as a password, just type it and click Continue.
- On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
- Under Selective Startup uncheck the box that says uncheck Load Startup Items.
- Select the Services tab
- At the command Hide all Microsoft services, click the check box and then click Disable All.
If the system starts and is running Windows XP or Windows Vista operating systems will have to apply the divide and conquer algorithm to detect the Microsoft service is causing your computer to freeze at startup.
